DYW Tay Cities Awards Celebration

This year we celebrate 10 years of Developing the Young Workforce with a special awards evening on the 30th of August at the Apex Hotel, City Quay Dundee.

Businesses from across the Tay Cities region (Dundee, Angus and Perth & Kinross) are invited to celebrate each others commitment to supporting the young people in our region. The evening, which will be compered by Gregor and Lynsey from Tay FM, starts with a drinks reception and includes a 3 course dinner. There will also be a range of live performances throughout the night, showcasing our region’s young talent. Finally we will end the night with a silent auction. Tickets will be made available on the website shortly.

Breakfast Presenters on TayFM

Join us for an unforgettable evening as Tay FM's dynamic duo, Gregor Runciman and Lynsey Harley, take the stage to host the DYW Tay Cities Awards. With their infectious energy and genuine enthusiasm, Gregor and Lynsey will guide us through a night of celebration, recognising the outstanding achievements and contributions of individuals and organisations in the Tay Cities area. Morgan McLeod

Morgan started her journey at with DYW Tay Cities around 2 years ago as a Employer Liaison Officer covering predominately the Perth and Kinross region. Recently her role has been adapted to allow her to pursue her passion and creativity for events across the Tay Cities region. She brings to the table her event knowledge from studying Events Management at Edinburgh Napier University and has hands on experience from working in the events industry for a number of years.

Lucy Jobson

Meet Lucy, our Business Management Graduate Apprentice. Lucy runs our DYW Apprentice Ambassador project and is the Employer Liaison Officer for one Dundee school. Within the event team, Lucy's role involves coming up with fresh ideas and handling the marketing and promotion for our awards evening

Euan Dear

Euan has been part of the board of DYW Tay cities since it formed in 2022 and prior to that was part of the DYW Perth and Kinross board for 3 years.  Euan has a passion and belief that the best way to support the young workforce is not just by saying but doing, and this has included Euan taking the time to Mentor school pupils, attend career events in the schools and support the DYW team in their delivery.
